PRIVACY POLICY

Information about the processing of personal data when visiting this website.

1. Controller

AMBER Recording Studio

2. Website delivery and server logs

When you visit the website, the hosting provider and delivery infrastructure may process connection data required for operation, including IP address, access time, requested page, browser information and technical status information. This helps us deliver the website securely, diagnose problems and prevent attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Retention and the precise providers depend on the hosting configuration actually used.

3. Contact and project inquiries

When you contact us by email, we process the information you provide to respond to your inquiry and, where applicable, prepare a collaboration. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Messages are retained only as necessary to handle inquiries and comply with any statutory retention duties.

The current project form prepares information in your browser. Under the present implementation, selected demo files are not uploaded through this form. If direct form submission or file uploads are enabled, this policy must be updated before activation.

4. Embedded music and videos

Pages may embed media from Spotify, YouTube/YouTube-nocookie and possibly other film platforms. Loading these players may establish a direct connection between your browser and the provider, which may process IP address, device and browser information and potentially cookies or similar technologies. Providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Please refer to the providers' own privacy notices. Depending on implementation, non-essential third-party services may require prior consent and a consent mechanism.

5. Fonts and external resources

This website currently loads fonts from Google Fonts and may load some images from external sources. When external files are requested, providers may receive technical connection data including your IP address. Before publication, external fonts should preferably be served locally and the legal basis for any transfer should be reviewed.

6. External links and social media

The website may link to external profiles and services. Merely displaying an ordinary link does not send data to the destination platform; its privacy terms apply when you open the link. Social plugins or tracking pixels must be reviewed separately if added in the future.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files that may be stored in your browser. Similar technologies, such as access to locally stored browser information, may also fall under Section 25 of the German TDDDG. Storage or access strictly necessary for a service you expressly request may be exempt from consent under statutory conditions. Non-essential technologies generally require prior, informed and freely given consent.

Our website uses browser features to provide its layout and navigation. Where strictly necessary storage or session data are used, they serve these functions. The exact list of cookies and storage technologies must be verified against the published website and its hosting configuration. We therefore do not make a blanket claim that the website is entirely cookie-free.

Embedded services such as Spotify and YouTube may use cookies or similar technologies and transmit data to their providers. Where legally required, such non-essential embeds must remain blocked until valid consent is provided. A privacy notice is not consent and does not replace a technical consent mechanism. Users must also be able to withdraw any consent.

You can delete or block cookies using your browser settings. This does not retroactively delete data already sent to external services. For details of embedded providers, see the “Embedded music and videos” section.

8. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect and lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR), including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

9. Updates

We will update this privacy policy when the website's features, providers or data processing change. Updated: November 2026.
